Island Dental Associates offers a dental savings plan to give members access to discounted dental services. However, it is important to understand the following terms and conditions:

• Not Insurance: Our dental savings plan is not dental insurance. It is a discount program that allows members to access reduced rates on dental services from participating providers. The Dental Advantage Plan is for uninsured patients only. If you become insured during the term, we cannot coordinate this plan with conventional insurance plans. The plan has no refunds, and it can not be used in conjunction with insurance. The plan is only usable when insurance is not applied.
• Participating Providers: Members can only receive discounts from dental providers who have agreed to participate in our dental savings plan network. Not all dental providers are part of our network.
• Payment Responsibility: Members must pay the annual fee in full before accessing the discounts offered by our dental savings plan. This plan cannot be used when financing within the practice. Membership is for one year beginning on the enrollment date. Payment for additional dental services is the member’s responsibility.
• Membership Fees: The fees are non-refundable. If the participant does not utilize their savings plan benefits, the plan is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE and offers no additional discounts. Benefits cannot be carried over to another year. There are no refunds for unused services. The plan may only be used at the respective office. All services must be paid in full at the completion of treatment to be available for discounts.
• Membership Responsibility: The member is responsible for scheduling and keeping all appointments as part of the Dental Advantage Plan. Notification of cancelations at least 48 hours in advance or a penalty of $50 will be assessed. Only the legal guardian(s) of children 17 and younger can sign up for the membership plan.
• Limitations and Exclusions: Our dental savings plan may have limitations and exclusions, and certain dental services may not be eligible for discounts. Discounts do not qualify for treatment that has already started. Members should review the plan details and consult with participating providers for specific information on covered services. The plan must be separate from other offers, discounts, special offers, or coupons.
• 20% off New planned treatments only
• Specialty lab parts for prosthetic replacements are not discountable
• Some cases may not be available for 0% financing with the Advantage plan
• Lab Fees are not included in the discount or any discount.
• Continuation of existing treatment plans does not qualify for discounts
• Same-day prosthetics, rush cases, and same-day denture repairs do not apply to any discount. 
• Discounts only apply to in-house treatments.
• Provider Participation: The list of participating dental providers may change at any time without notice. Members should verify the current network of participating providers before seeking services.
• Compliance with State Laws: Our dental savings plan is designed to comply with applicable laws and regulations in New York State. However, regulations may change over time, and it is the responsibility of members to ensure compliance with all current legal requirements.
• Cancellation and Refunds: Members may cancel their membership at any time in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the plan documentation. Unused benefits are not refundable, and the plan is non-transferable. 
• Disclosure: Island Dental Associates encourages all members to carefully review the plan documentation, including the terms, conditions, and fees associated with our dental savings plan, before enrolling in their specific plan.
